Non-Running Auto Transport

Nationwide United Auto Transport wants to put more ease into transporting an inoperable vehicle. We want to answer some frequently asked questions that we customers have when transporting an inoperable or non-running vehicle.

“Is shipping non running vehicles more expensive?”
Yes. Since inoperable vehicles cannot operate like running vehicles, special transport vehicles are needed to properly transport a non-running car. Prices vary depending on model, damage, and condition.

“What kind of equipment is needed to transport a non-running car?”
If your vehicle can roll, steer, & brake, your vehicle will not need any special vehicles or equipment to transport. If your vehicle doesn’t do one or more of these actions, special vehicles such as a forklift may be needed.

“Do I need to give a condition report and will my vehicle be inspected?”
Yes. The more you tell us about your inoperable vehicle, the easier we can determine which vehicle is needed to safely transport your car. Inspections are held simply to double-check on the vehicle’s condition.

“What is the process when transporting an inoperable vehicle?”
When you call, it is ideal to give our specialists your vehicle’s model, any damages, and its rolling, steering, and braking condition. Our specialists will determine what equipment and vehicles may be needed to properly load and unload your vehicle.
