Legal Vs Oversize Transport

Legal: Any load within the following specifications ( 42′ ft x 8′ 4″ ft x 13′ 6″ ft – Weight >16,000 lbs) is considered a legal load.

Oversize: Any load that exceeds legal allowed specializations is considered oversize and requires permitting. 

Single Vs Double Wide Home

Single-Wide: Mobile homes that are no more than 72 feet long and 15 feet wide. 

Double-Wide:  Mobile homes range between 56-90 feet long and 26 feet wide.

3| Pickup and Delivery Locations – Are we picking up from a residential or commercial address?
4| Route Survey – Will we need commercial route planning? 
3| Towing or Hauling – Is this a legal or oversize transport? 
4| Permits/Escorts – Will your move require local, state or nationwide permitting?
5| Set-Up Services – Do you need professional service to disconnect and reconnect your utilities or attach axles and wheels?

How Much Does it Cost to Move a Mobile Home

Unlike other services, moving mobile homes does not have a set cost. The average cost to move your mobile home will depend on a few variables including size and weight of mobile home, pickup and delivery locations, permits and escorts – among others.

Generally speaking, a legal manufactured home that does not require permits or escorts to transport, can average costs between $500 – $3,500 interstate and $2,000 – $15,000 nationwide. Single wide mobile homes and double wide manufactured homes requiring permits and escorts to transport average a cost between $1,500 – $4,000 interstate and $3,500 – $25,000 nationwide.
