Heavy hauling is a more intricate way of transporting over-dimension and/or overweight loads and requires specialized trailers to accommodate a load’s specific needs. Permits for Heavy Haul Trucking

Your heavy haul freight will require special permits for each state, county, city and any other municipality it transits through while in transport. Most permits issued outline the amount of time (generally three to five days), hours (generally during sunlight) and optimized route a heavy haul shipment can travel. Depending on the commodity, additional permitting specifically for that commodity may be required as well.
